Our dispatch team uses a formula to make sure every single load is a good load, by ensuring that you as an Owner/Operator get paid more than a company driver. We call this the Net Take Home amount.
You can test our formula:
From the gross line haul on a load, deduct $0.70 per mile for a driver's wage, $0.99 per mile for fuel, $220 per day for truck expanses, $105 per day trailer and insurance and the rest is your profit, or Net Take Home.
The CSA 2010 program combines and tracks a variety of information about company truck drivers, and owner operators.
The CSA 2010 point system is then used to determine the safety risks associated with the company truck drivers, and owner operators and help determine what disciplinary interventions (if any) should be taken.
The Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010 (CSA 2010) is a new federal program that regulates safe driving habits in the commercial trucking industry. The mission of CSA 2010 is to prevent motor vehicle crashes before they happen. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will educate and regulate drivers through the Behavior Analysis and Safety Improvement Categories (CSA 2010 BASICs) program
